Nini the blind kitten

It is not easy being a 600 gram blind kitten in this huge world. But Nini has a brave heart that sees and hears no evil. She is just a tiny little creature that has no clue of the huge luck she has, nor the good people that made her life possible.

Nini was only 2 weeks old, when her mother’s owners dumped her at the veterinary clinic. Baby Nini had her scull crushed accidentally by the same people. She was on the brink of death. The kind doctors did their best to take care of her and helped her live. This is how she looked like back in those days:

Nini lived in the tiny clinic box for a month – having no contact with other animals, lonely, isolated and blind. But even that didn’t break her strong spirit. She is a curious, playful, fun and energetic creature that makes up her own interesting games and has many friends.

Blindness is often associated with loneliness and isolation – Nini has none of those problems. She makes friends very easily and everybody loves her. She is great with dogs and cats and is the most adaptive and clever girl that you’d meet.

When people see Nini they do not believe that she is blind. It takes 10 minutes of games, poking into her eyes (well, almost), hand waving and exclamations before they understand it is true. Indeed – Nini runs, plays, and even chases like any ordinary cat! She has a wonderful attitude and such a lively presence! See her play with a healthy kitten her age and we bet even you will be amazed and wonder if she can see:

Nini needs a loving home and a caring owner, preferably – with at least one other cat, because she loves to play and cuddle.
