Dear friends, would you help us to survive through the crisis we are into?
During all these months, we have been fighting in the overcrowded shelter – the number of dumped puppies this autumn is monstrous!
You know that every dog, coming in our shelter, gets 3 vaccines (45 levs), microchip (10 levs), passport (2 levs), good food ( about 80 levs per puppy and 40 – for the adults per month), spay or neuter (40 levs), several dewormings (about 15 levs), test Caniv4 (30 levs). It makes more than 220 levs for each dog, before it is ready for adoption. And this is only the amount for the healthy dogs, which wouldn’t need any treatment. And they are just a few.
And during this autumn, each month we have taken in at least 100 new dogs.
With the overcrowding of the shelter come the problems – almost all our dogs have had kennel cough and in the moment there is a giardia in almost all kennels.

And yet –thanks to your text messages and donations, we would get through this crisis once again.

But bad things don’t come alone. It is now, in this hard moment, when our trial with the municipality, had to end. In a few words – the Farm is outside the limits of the areas for waste disposal, so we pay to a private company for this service. And yet, the Municipality charges us 4000 levs per year for a service we don’t get from them. And after our appeal, we were informed we must pay it in a week.
We did it, but we gave every single coin we had – money, planned for food, heating, medicines…

But “The Farm”can’t be paused, until we raise some money – the dogs need food and medicines, the clinic needs heating (we can’t even dream of enough pellets to heat the shelter building).
15 adult dogs – and these are dogs who have spent more than 5 years in a kennel – got the chance of their lives –a ticket for homes in Holland. A ticket we probably won’t be able to buy…
