This disgusting pile of misery is the shelters daily dirty laundry. The keepers take out the dirty bedding and just pile it up while they continue to clean and feed the dogs, giving them new, clean towels and blankets to sleep comfortably on. When they are finished titying up the dogs they take the dirty bedding, scrub off the dirt and fesces, thank take them up to the laundry room.
It takes 6 to 8 rounds for each of our laundry machines for the daily bedding to be washed. All that must also go through our 2 tubmble driers. Than, everything must be folded and put neatly in the bedding storage, where it remains until the next day, when the cycle starts all over again…
