Found on the highway, Noir was admitted to our clinic a bit dehydrated, a bit anemic and with a leg injury at least a week old. We wouldn’t want to imagine what has he went through that week – hit by a car, in pain, hungry and thirsty, and unable to find a gap in the fence to escape this car hell.
His paw has no deep sensitivity and there is no way it can be saved. We’re going to stabilize him a bit and then he will go through an amputation.
This is sad, mostly because three-legged dogs are less likely liked by adopters.
But Noir is so cute and sweet that we are not without hope.
The important thing is for him to recover, since he is young and has a great future ahead of him, we are sure of it! Just take a look at him and say – isn’t he wonderful?
