A home for Rodger

With so many animals having to be named, not surprisingly we have got some quite weird names for the dogs at the shelter. A female dog named Duncan is just the tip of the iceberg. So it is no surprise to anyone that a female puppy named Rodger occurred at the clinic – a dumped baby we had to deworm, vaccinate and prepare for rehoming.

The little dude was anyway a bit outlandish. She was too small to be kept in the puppygarten so she became a full-time occupant of the staff resting room. Yes, the same one where dogs are strictly forbidden. Still, she used to live quite a comfortable life there. Used to, because we have good news for Rodger:

Miss Rodger now has a very nice home and a proper name to go along with it. She was adopted by Trayan Kostashki and is already settled down in her lovely new home at the town of Sevlievo. We are sure Trayan and … Roxy! will have loads of fun together!
