Once upon a time….. no, nowadays. Old story, as old as the world, as long as we, humans, inhabit it, known for our cruelty, selfishness, incompatibility, monstrosity. The only thing that changes in the stories we all hear, are the participants – different Humans, different dogs, one and the same places.
This is the story of Mama Maggie and her 5 unfortunates – already adopt!
In a regular day, on a busy highway, people who share the same view as we do are driving when they notice a skinny dog walking at a dangerous closeness to the highway and… even before they think of anything, Maggie decides to cross in front of their car and gets almost hit. There is not time for fear, however! Our people pull over, completely convinced that the spot of our heroine is not on the highway and they should catch her. Of course, Maggie did not share their opinion and makes the impossible to trouble them so they would give up and leave her alone so she can find her luck on her own. The same way she did it for the last 2 months, after she’s been abandoned abruptly close to a tunnel from her once “loving” owner. This information plus the news that she’s been pregnant, her rescuers found out from the security guard of the highway, who claims the dog feels fine, sometimes the truck-drivers feed it once in a while, and does not feel bad here.
Even more inspired than before, the People leave, only to come back after getting everything they need to catch the mommy. After long hours of tracking out, they find her little puppies, left alone, hungry, dehydrated, barely breathing in the extreme heat, in the middle of nowhere, defenseless puppies. Without wasting time they take them in the car and leave for Sofia to take care of them. This night, Maggie would once again inhabit the desert roads outside the city.
With enormous happiness, we announce that after heaps of troubles and kilometers passed, the stubborn mommy is finally with her puppies.
She appeared to be very quick to learn and spoiled. She immediately learned her name; she listens and comes forward when called. She is very energetic and satisfied from the convenience of her poster home, but it is about time she finds a real and permanent home – just for her One, that when you take a dog, it stays with you until its last breath!
Maggie – looking for a home!
