Wendy – all grown up

Dear friends, meet Wendy. I gave her that name because she kind of reminds me of Peter Pan’s female character – Wendy – who without hesitation took care for the Lost boys, gave them her infinite love, and showed them her commitment and concern about their fate.

Our Wendy has a similar fate as the literature character. We took her from Seslavci last summer with one of her babies. In Seslavci she was put in a small little cage with twelve babies – half of them her own, the other half – not.  This wonderful, caring dog gave her best to feed all of the babies, trying to save them from the hunger and misery in the cage. But alas – Wendy’s mother love and commitment weren’t enough. Until the time we could take her in Bogrov all of the babies but one have slept their last sleep.

Today Wendy is 4-years old, very calm and nice. She loves to cuddle and is always looking for a human touch. At the same time she’s very careful and friendly with people. She will be the perfect pet for people who want gentle and calm dog.

Neutered and vaccinated, this modern heroine is waiting for the people who will rewrite her story and will give her the happy ending she deserves.
