Who says miracles don’t happen!?
Nando was found in the middle of the street, dieing of hunger and anemia, with a severe liver infection and a horrible skin condition due to the thousands of parasites that roamed his tormented body. He was hours away from his end and death was sitting unpatiently by his side, waiting to take him away… This is the story of Nando in pictures – from his first day at the clinic – 7kg of pain and sadness; to his 2nd month at his fosters – 12kg of love and hope:
Nando was said to have little to no chance – the doctors didn’t beleive he would make it. But his spirit was stronger than the cruelty he endured.
He had a fever of 42C and couldn’t get up. He had 24h fluids for days, didn’t eat nor drink, but always greeted his saviour with soft tailwags when she came to see him twice a day in the clinic.
Miraculously on day 4 Nando started showing signs of improvement. Thanks to the fabulous help of his friends at dailapa.dog.bg he got the best possible treatment.
The moment he could walk he was taken out of the clinic and placed in a loving foster home where his miracle continued to evolve with amazing speed!
He grew stronger by the hour, feeding on love and giving it back a million times – loving everybody in the household – both humans and animals.
He forgot all about sadness and became the most loving and friendly little boy – never a problem on walks or at home.
Nando is a very young boy – he is not yet 1 year old, as unbeleivable as it is for the pain and horror he has endured in his short life. He weighs 12kg and is neutered. He is a poodle-terrier mix and doesn’t shed at all. He has an outgoing and very loyal temperament.
Nando is looking for a household with other dogs to be with and the loving care of a human family who would give him the good life he deserves to have. He tolerates cats and is extremely patient with children. He walks well on a leash, but still gets a little frightened by unknown dogs – he had been severely bitten before he came into the cate of Animal Rescue Sofia.
