People, it works… The magic. The magic is working.
The first thing d-r Stancheva did this morning when she came to work was to see how Hope is doing. The girl lifted her head, but couldn’t stand up. And although she was put on infusions the whole night yesterday, she hadn’t peed in her bed and patiently waited for d-r Stancheva to carry her out and do her business.
And then she fell. Marietta hugged her and started talking to her softly.
And then Hope’s pupils widened.
The dog took a deep breath and… died.
But Marietta is no fool. When she says she’ll fight to the end – she usually wins, it’s been a long-going battle between her and Death – every single day they fight over a dog’s life.
Marieta ran back inside as fast as she could and began heart massage. Success! Then she injected help for the heart, put on new hot infusions and absolutely forbid Hope to die again.
Today Hope has a temperature below 32C once again – the thermometer cannot tell us how low. But the magic is really working. Because the girl is still with us. Thank you for sending her strength and courage. It sounds superstitious, but we have seen this work in 5 years – it really does matter when good things are being thought about someone. Keep picturing her – happy, joyful, smiling, enthusiastic and full of love…
Boo the abandoned bulldog seems to understand Hope needs help. He lies with her and licks her years from time to time. In a great deal of pain himself, he is such a compassionate friend…
