Betta had a home and a family. But her owner had a second child and abandoned her. Not because she posed any threar to the baby – she did grow up with his firstborn, but because his wife was puching him to get rid of the dog. So he brought her to a dog-hotel, but stopped paying at a certain point. So the “genious” hotel owner decided it will be a good lesson to his custumers and stopped feeding her. We found Betta barely alive, a desperate skeleton who had no clue what was happening and why she parished in hunger and loneliness.
Martin Christov came to the shelter after he had lost his rottweiler. He was thinking of helping some of the more difficult dogs – one of the pitbulls perhaps. But the skinny and worriet Betta caught his eye right away. very quickly Martin won Betta’s trust and love, so she soon started to look at him in the eye with that tipical gaze saying: “you are my master, I am your dog”.
Martin is now calling former scary rott lady Betty. Hah!
