Little (but only by age) Middle-Eastern Shepherd Alla came to us in a horrible condition – her wrists turned into a 90* angle, her hind legs in the shape of an X, barely walking, but still in a good mood and always ready for hugs.
With your help Alla received the best possible care and her recovery began to succeed. The great news is that she will not be continuing it at the shelter and Alla is already enjoying a wonderful new life in a great home – the home of the Christovi family.
Christovi came to the shelter with a clear aim – to adopt a dog that would otherwise be problematic to re-home. They didn’t take much time to find it – it was love at first sight with Alla. They started coming to walk her every other day and always with 5 boiled eggs in their pocket – the calcium and proteins in the eggs are the best supplement Alla could find for her problems.
When we were through with Alla’s vaccination scheme and her neutering, she left the shelter to go to her own apartment with the Christovi family here in Sofia. Here is what her new “mother” Maya Christova has to say about our cute girl’s newly found happiness:
“Greetings from Alla. She is feeling well in her new home. It only took her a few days to become everyone’s favorite in our living block. She only has two issues: one is that our floor is slippery, but we have solved that with a few carpets; the other is that we have to carry her down to the exit, because she is worried to be abandoned again if she goes out. Everything else is just fine and getting better with every passed day, she has even begun to show her breed’s true temperament.
Our kindest regards, I am sending you a few photos from her daily life.”
