This bilboard in Sweden kindly asks all residents not to use fireworks and fireckrackers to avoid scaring the animals of the community. In the same time huge municipalities in Italy have banned the use of fireworks for the event on account of protecting the citizens and animals from the stresss.
Unfortunately, the New Year’s eve in Bulgaria is considered a time to make as much noise as possible. This results in huge stress for the pets, but moreso for the birds and stray animals of the city who survive the horror absolutely stressed out.
So, if you have bought a few fireworks for tonight, please – consider keeping them in the drawer, the noise is literrally killing the animals.
