Many thanks to the volunteers who came to make the dogs happy once again this weekend! So many were walked and socialized – this is really amazing support we are getting!!!
One important notice: please, have in mind that only staff and senior volunteers may take dogs out of their cages – this is done so that there will be justice in dog-walking, the ones in most need of socializing to be taken out, and also so that no dogs are put back into wrong cages. It is very important that these rules are followed as accidents can occur fast and unexpected. We understand many people do not see the point of the walking rules and are “there just for the walks”, but dealing with 500 dogs requires a military organization in order to have everyone healthy, safe and happy.
