Adopt a cat

Posted on 13 February 2020

So. Imagine a shelter for dogs. There is a big yard and a high fence. And 200 dogs that are never too silent.

Now imagine a young cat. A cat that jumps over the fence, completely undisturbed.

He slowly and confidently passes through the whole yard, in front of the eyes of the dogs – shocked by his arrogance.

Imagine the startled faces of the employees of the above-mentioned shelter when they see who is causing the turmoil.

And when in the cat’s medical record, in the field “reason for admission”, the vets write down “He came by himself”…

There is no more need to imagine. This is the story of Orange.

Because of his safety, we couldn’t let him inhabit the place that he chose for himself – the yard of the Farm shelter.

Now Orange is in the clinic. He is vaccinated, neutered, dewormed, microchipped, etc.

Orange is about a year old. He is unbelievably cuddly. And handsome. And well-mannered. And so many things more.

Orange is expecting his adopters in the Farm shelter. If you like him and you want a cat – come and meet him. If you like him, but you don’t want a cat – share his story, so that we can find his people together!

Sergeant Matzoli’s update

Posted on 22 October 2014

Sergeant Matzoli’s troubles were a little bit forgotten during the distemper epidemic, but we think it is about time to update you about the good fellow.
This is how he came to us, after being hit by a car.

His both jaws were broken, one of the eyes couldn’t be saved.

cat2And this is the Sergeant today, waiting for his people:

kotka3kotka4kotka5Matzoli  is FIV positive, which means he cannot live with other cats and must be only an inside cat. But he is feeling great and hopes for a good owner!

Ready to go home

Posted on 25 August 2014

The summer is here and our kitties are already ready to be adopted. They are the cutest, the most adorable and purring precious things that you can bring home. Those of who still have not made up their minds to take a cat as a pet can help us by becoming a foster guardian to any of our kitties and cats. The happiness and the feeling of satisfaction of seeing the happy adopters with the happy animal in their arms are unbelievable. It is worth it to do it. If you want to become a foster guardian to cats or kitties, send us an email at:

Petya and Pipilota are two sisters from the litter we told you about in the beginning of summer. They were found when they were still newborn, tied in a plastic bag near a trash container. 24/7 caring, worrying, love and joy are only a little part of the experiences that foster guardians of such tiny babies go through. Now we can happily announce that their brother Murry is already adopted and it is turn to Pipilota and Petya to find their families.

Petya is the most tender and sweet cat you can imagine. She lives to love .. people, cats, everyone. She is truly adorable and loves cuddling and playing. She is very smart and she can find toys in everything she gets. For example, her favorite toys are bottle caps and mints she finds in bags that she steals from opened bags. Petya is a happy kitty.

Petya (1)Petya

Pipilota is a loving furry ball that always seeks people’s attention. She loves eating and… posing for the camera. She is our little model that is posing every time she sees a camera. She doesn’t like sharing her toys with other cats but she loves playing with her sister. The little one is vaccinates, knows how to use the litter box and she is ready to be adopted and to purr all day long.

Yin and Yang are our gorgeous brothers with color of graphite. They were abandoned when they were only 1 month old. Their story is a bit unusual compared to the most popular stories we hear every day. They were thrown over a 2.5 meters long fence. Fortunately the little ones were not hurt and now they 2 months happy kitties living in their foster family. They play, cuddle and enjoy life to the fullest.

The story of the 9 little guys on the pictures below is sad. We believe they come from two litters but we can never be sure by the way they were found. The 9 of them were put in a cartoon box, closed tight with a duck tape in one of the hottest days 2 weeks ago. The “people” that have done that to them probably are the owners of the kitties’ mothers – obviously not neutered. Instead of doing the right thing and neuter their cats, the “people” have put 12 kittens in ONE cartoon box closed with a duck tape. For the three youngest ones it was too late when the rescuers found them. You can only imagine the heat and the struggle for each breath of the kittens closed in the box.

The 9 survivors are cute furry balls – very charming 2 ladies and 7 male kittens. They are looking for adopters, foster homes, god-mothers/fathers and everyone who would like to help for their raising.

The beautiful Kara was found abandoned with her sister who found home right away. Now this gorgeous beauty is looking for home. She is sweet, playful and amazing little treasure. The pictures show Kara in her first days in the shelter. She is bigger now and completely ready to go home.

Shadow is our little black panther.  He was rescued from the street, found abandoned with her brother. They were still newborns when their rescuers found them. His brother was already fading when they were found. Shadow however was fighting every day and he is growing stronger and bigger with every day. He is fully vaccinated and ready for adoption. He has huge appetite and huge heart that loves everyone around him – people, cats and kittens.

Shadow (1)Shadow (2)

Dinya and Sluncho are two sisters who were abandoned probably by the owners of their mothers, who didn’t neuter their cats. The little ones were left alone in the street. We are looking for foster home for her and for adopters, of course. Dinya loves people and always tries to draw attention when someone passes by near her.

Michael and Lincoln are not babies… They were babies one year ago when their adopters opened their hearts and home for them. However 12 months later there is no place for them anymore. Their adopters are moving out to another apartment and Michael and Lincoln no longer have home. They are gorgeous, fully vaccinated, neutered and microchipped. If you are looking for calmer cats that are no that active and naughty as babies are, those are the boys for you.

New kids on the block

Posted on 26 January 2014

The cat heroes we will present to you are of all ages. Each of them has their own stories but all of them are united by the same – they are looking for people with big hearts who will give them all the love and care and cozy home where they will forget the suffering from the past. We are looking for those special people who have no prejudice and are ready to open their hearts for our kittens and cats.

Чико и Мирко

Chicko and Mirko are two wonderful brothers, 7 years old. They are rescued stray cats, found by their owner when they were just a few months old. Few days ago their owner died and they lost the person who loved them and cared for them during all the years they were together. If you look at their picture, you can see how sad they are at the moment, grieving for their owner. Chicko and Mirko are incredible, charming and very calm cats. We are looking for new owners for them. They are neutered and vaccinated. They are brothers, but it is ok if they are adopted separately, if necessary.

Missy3 Missy5

Missy is a beautiful loving cat that recently lost her owner. She is about 8 years old. Missy was found in the street in a very bad health condition. After a lifesaving surgery Missy recovered really fast and up to now she was living happily with her owner. She loves people and her favorite thing is to cuddle and sleep near her beloved fosters. She doesn’t like other cats too much. At the moment she is living with three other cats in a foster family. We are looking for cosy warm home for her, where people will love and cherish her. She is vaccinated and neutered.

Tommy (1) Tommy

Tommy is a young 3 years old cat. He was found at Lyulin’s market when he was only two months old, in September 2011. He was with a broken leg and very sick. After he recovered completely, he was adopted by a nice lady that cares for him and loves him with all her heart. However, at her home there are problems with her son who is torturing Tommy. The lady does not have enough money to care properly for Tommy. She asked us for help to find a new home for the young cat where he will feel happier and will forget the torture and the violence. Tommy is neutered and vaccinated. He is very clever and calm.

Symba (2) Symba

Symba is our little big hero who now lives his life as a kitten with three legs. He is only 4 months old but he has already experienced a huge drama in his life. He was found in a cold night in December crying near a block. His rescuers immediately reacted and succeeded to catch the little furry ball that was crying in pain. When they brought him to a veterinary clinic, the vets found a very bad wound on one of his front legs that looked infected. They immediately began treatment for the infection but Symba’s condition was getting worse every day. The only way to save his life was by amputating the infected leg. Fortunately, after the operation Symba’s condition began to improve very fast. The young kitten is at a foster family right now. He has recovered completely from the surgery and now he behaves as every normal kitten 4 months old. He is active, playful, very loving and charming. Symba’s disability does not affect his quality of life. He is a little happy furry ball that will grab your heart the moment you see him.

Almy (1) Almy

Almy is a 4 months old charming kitten that was rescued from the street. He was found with bad infection in his tail that left him without half of his tail. He is healthy, active and loves being around people. His nickname is “Dushko” (“Sweety”).

Pancho i Pako 4 Pancho i Pako 5

PanayotCho and PaskalCho (Pancho and Pako) are two very smart, active and wonderful brothers. They are about 5-6 months old. They were found together with two other siblings when they were just a few days old. Their foster mom found them dumped in a plastic bag. She started caring for them and did her best to help them survive and grow up even without their mom-cat. All 4 kittens survived and became wonderful young cats. Two are happily adopted. Now Pancho and Pako are looking for loving and caring families.

Bella 2 Bella

Bella is a real beauty. She is 4 months old. Her rescuer has found her when she was little baby, very skinny and almost dead. The vets have discovered that she had a bad anemia and wounds from dogs’ teeth. The good care for Bella and her nature of a fighter have done the miracle for the little one and she is now healthy, beautiful and ready to be adopted. We are looking for a cozy warm home for her.
