Olympia, or Tarja as we used to call her here, was one of 5 wonderful German-shepherd mixes we had at Bogrov. It was an all-black litter and it took the puppies quite some time to find the right owners. But Tarja-Olympia was lucky!
She was rehomed in Austria and has the most wonderful caring owner who works with her dog allot! They go to obedience and will soon start Agility training. All her teachers love Tarja and are very fond of her.
Tarja’s owner made the effort to DNA-test the lady. To her surprise, this is what came out as breed-specific genes in the bllodlines that have formed poor little homeless Tarja:
-German Shepherd
-Retriever
-Setter
-Spaniel
and….
CHIHUAHUA!
Please neuter your pets – you never know where their progeny might end up. May as well be on the street like little Tarja.
