Starting off with old granny Emmy. Emmy is over 12 years old or more, she was living quietly in the Old dogs nurcery – such a wonderful old girl. She will live out her life taken care of by Lee Kiriaku, a kind lady in Belgium. Lee has already adopted our Belka – the sweet mother, who was attacked and sprayed with acid, but survived to nurce 2 litters of abandoned puppies. Belka will have a great friend from Bulgaria to keep her and Lee company – we are so happy to know Emmy will live the rest of her life in love and dignity:

Our frineds at the Munster shelter have taken in Rango and Polly! The couple are siblings, we still have their mother and 3 other pups from the same litter. Thanks to the wonderful staff at Tierheim Munster Rango and Polly will be rehomed with loving and responcible families!

Our friends Sandra Stibi and Andrea Krieger at Stibi’s Hundeparadies in Austria will care for and rehome 6 very lucky dogs!

Amongst them are Lassy, who waited for the right people such a long time in foster care – we are sure she will find the best of families in Austria. Also Cheeto and Jenny – they were found as timy puppies, dumped, hopless and injured. Little boy Cheeto only has 3 legs, but thanks to Sandra – he will have the best of homes!

Andrea will also foster the funny boy Focker – who was in Vessy’s foster care, sweetest girl Sally who grew up in the shelter, and 1-eyed sweet mother Trisha. Focker is just a funny puppy, but the two ladies are pure gold. Sally and Trisha are two of the kindest, cutest furry girls in the whole world. They so deserve to be loved and be able to give love in return!

And here are the 10 happy, happy, happy dogs that went to our new friends in Holland – OVIDEFARM! We are very happy to have had Hans, Selma and the rest of their fabulous team here in Sofia for the last week. Dear friends, it was really a pleasure, thank you for all your effort with the dogs, thank you for taking care of these 10 lucky souls! We hope to be working together in great cooperation from now on!

The lucky puppies are: Rayna, Kenzo, Sox, Britt, Jamay, Safary, Yoko, Davy and Ringo! Without an exception they were all dumped and unwanted puppies who came to the shelter as a last hope for survival.

Thanks to the great people at Ovidefarm they are safe from harm and will live long untroubled lives in the land of tulips!

We are sure you remember the sweet lady Sahara. You will be pleased to know she also went to Ovidefarm where we hope she will be rehomed easily with a the wonderful family she deserves!

And guess who also was on this transport? Do you remember Nero – the good black guy who was dumped to die of starvation with his ears severely chopped off – tied to a tree and desperate? Nero spent a long time in foster care with his kind patron – Petia. Thanks to our friends at ARS-Holland a great home was found for him about 1,5 years ago. He was living happily in Holland until he was diagnosed with severe Hip Displasia – a desease of the joints that can cause great pain to the dogs. Nero’s surgery would have been impossibly expencive in Holland, so his adoptive parents and his foster mom got together to organise the surgery for him here in Bulgaria. All went well and now Nero can go back to his great life – happy and healthy!

A photo of Nero ust before he went back home, and one from the day he was found… How things can turn arround when you have true friends!
