We have excellent news: our sweet 5-month old Meteora and 4-month old Felicity have left to find their new homes and happiness in the UK! The two ladies were rehomed through a wonderful british organization that helps visually-impaired dogs.
You will probably not remember Felicity – she turned out to be a very lucky dog. Kind people found her under a bridge with her brother, who was already passing away. She turned out to be stronger than him, but after the critical days had passed her rescuers discovered she was blind. A fact that she didn’t let change her course to happiness – she became the most cuddly and friendly dog there is. Now she will have true friends to share her love!
And Meteora we are sure you remember. Besides being that wonderful young puppy at the shelter door (we kept her outside to get socialized) she is also one of those lucky ones you donated a surgery to. After we removed her disfigured eye and stitched it up, the young diva was ready for her journey to happiness. Thanks to our colleagues in England, the lady already has a home where she will be greatly loved and cared for not despite, but because of her disability!
