The dogs of Kremikovtzi – food needed

We need your help to continue feeding the dogs in Kremikovtzi as the harsh winter continues. Temperature is estimated to drop below -20 in February – the dogs will be needing every single precious calorie to survive the cold. Thanks to Sabi Sabev who has worked in Kremikovtzi in his past and sent the dogs of Kremikovtzi his compassion this month we’ve been able to feed these weeks, we also thank our regular donors who’ve donated for food. But the food vanishes in moments as we open the bags of food for the starvd dogs of the plant.

Helping the dogs of Kremikovtzi will require not a single effort, but many months of hard work and allot of resources. We hope those of you who’ve been touched by these dogs’ sad destiny will continue to support us while we feed the animals in order to get them back into shape to be neutered.

Times are difficult for everyone and as an NGO that relies on donations only we’ve felt the winter twice as hard. It’s been a struggle to support our own 500 dogs at the shelter of Bogrov and at the same time do our best for the unwanted children of Kremikovtzi. We deeply appreciate your help.

Whilst we are grateful for every bag of food we are donated, please have in mind we can buy good quality food for as little as 65 euro cents per kilogram, which is way less than any pet shop can sell. If you would like to donate food for Kremikovtzi, consider donating in cash, as bought through Animal Rescue Sofia the food will cost less and your summe will equal more dogs being fed.
