We thank our friends at Tierhilfe Sofia for the gifts they sent for the dogs of Bogrov! The high-quality puppy kibble has been fed to the puppies for a week now and the results are obvious – the babies look healthier and feel better, nothing like when they were fed the cheap kibble we can afford. Our Swiss colleagues also sent us greatly needed medications for the Bogrov clinic. We really appreciate their help!
Yet another dividing of the cages took place at the shelter last week. On this photo you can see Milcho dividing one of the larger outside enclosures into two so that more dogs can be put in there. Sadly, we are still severely overcrowded. Hopefully, with the help of our new bus – Kalcho, we will be able to solve this problem before the winter comes.
Two new Dutch veterinary students from Utrecht have come to help at the shelter. Stephanie Wigman and Britt Eeuwes have come to help our 4 vets with the Spay&Neuter surgeries we perform for free at our clinic. Willing volunteer vets and veterinary technicians are welcome!
