For all of you guys who want a reason to smile, we give you one with some good news about our cats from the last months.
Summer was not the easiest time for the Bogrov shelter. We faced a lot of challenges, including our cats’ cases. We were in an urgent need of foster homes (we still are) and needed help for the medical care of several cats in trouble. Thanks to your help and support we are now happy to announce that many of our cats are successfully adopted and live happily in their forever homes.
Do you remember our urgent cry for help in searching for foster homes for several very young kitties? They didn’t have names, so back then we called them Jane Doe, John Doe 1, John Doe 2 and John Doe 3.
Jane Doe was the first one to find her own lovely family. The little grey-white furry ball grabbed the heart of Senka Resic. Her new name is Mona and she is beyond happy to live in the international home of Senka and Gabriel here in Bulgaria.
John Doe 2 is the little charming kitty that fell in love with Nataliya Todorova. Her dream was to adopt a ginger cat but the moment she saw the cute grey little one, it became clear that this is her cat. Love at first sight… His new name is DobroLub, which means Love to make good. You can guess that his name comes from his character. Dobri, as they call, him plays all the time, eats well and is growing to be a handsome young cat.
John Doe 3 was the luckiest young cat to become a part of the family of Nadya Hamdan. In fact, she brought happiness to two furry balls, him and one little guy that also needed home, abundant with his Mom and three brothers. The new names of our cuties are Link and Mike. They are so happy together and show how grateful they are to be there with purring and cuddling.
One of the brothers of Mike is now called Mancho and is adopted by Viktoria. He is getting bigger and stronger, and of course… cuter with every day. Unfortunately, we don’t have any photos of Mancho, but we hope we will soon be able to show you this sweetheart – his new “parents” are thinking of getting him a friend!
Petya, the daughter of momcat Neri is already adopted by Georgi Grigorov. She enjoys playing, sleeping and purring in her cozy new home surrounded by love.
Two cats were recently adopted in the Netherlands, the mom of the four boys Mike, Mancho, Harvey and Reagan (they are still looking for home) and the Persian as we call him. He arrived in the shelter in bad health but with intensive care by our vets he became healthy and beautiful, ready to give love to his new family. Unfortunately, we only have their photos whilst still in the street, but we expect the happy pictures to arrive soon.
The ginger cuties Pooh and the two golden sisters are also part of our happy group of successfully adopted cats.
Do you remember the two beautiful sisters June and Uliya?
June was recently adopted by Christina. The little one’s new name is Juliya and she is playing non stop… as you can see from the photos. She has a lot of love to give, and it so great to know that she now has her own home.
The foster families of our cats are among the most wonderful people we have ever met. They give literary everything for the little ones to make them happy, healthy and ready to be adopted. For each foster family it is really hard to separate from the cats. Sometimes it is so hard that it is impossible. We are happy to announce that we have several adoptions from our foster families as well.
Julia will stay with her foster mom Rositsa. She has been caring for the little one since Julia was a newborn. Now they will live happily together.
Eary is the young beautify that will stay forever with her foster mom Irina. We congratulate them both and wish them happiness.
John Doe 1 is now named Ori and he will be adopted by his foster mom Olga.
The little cute Betty is now part of the family of Simona, her foster mom.
Last, but not least, our hero Niko who has gone through so much suffering in his life as a homeless cat. He grabbed the heart of his foster mom Stella and now he will forget forever what suffering means. Only happy days full of love are in front of the charming ginger hero.
The stories with happy end are our greatest motivator to go on and continue to work. Thanks to all adopters, to all foster homes and to all of you that continue to support us and help us, with positive thoughts and with financial support. A lot of our cats are still looking for home, so think about expanding of your family with one of our cuties.
