This is one of the hundreds abandoned buildings in Kremikovtzi:
But there is something special about the chair on the photo above. And it is that this chair has become the birthplace of a litter of pups. The mother is a tormented bag of bones, but there is so much love in her for her babies:
You can not see it from the photo above, but the mother is so skinny she can hardly walk. We’ve taken her and the babies to the Bogrov clinic. It is painful to see the bearly alive mother nurse the fat pups with her tiny, dried-out breasts. But she has given her best, this lovley girl. She really gave them ALL she had:
We hope the babies will survive to see a different future from what Kremikovtzi had intended for them. We hope instead of hunger, cold and lonelines we can offer this innocent souls the magic of their own home, warm and loved by their own family… We hope. And there is sill hope for the sad creatures of Kremikovtzi.
There is another litter we came upon in a more distant area of the factory. They look really small, but are in fact nearly 2 months old. We’ve dewarmed them and hope to be able to continue to feed them on the spot, then vaccinate and bring them over to the shelter.
There will surely be more and more babies springing out of unseen teritories as we continue our efforts in Kremikovtzi. The factory is extremely large (24 square kilometers) and we discover it a bit by bit. With your support we can continue to untie the knot of suffering in this God forsaken place. Thank you for helping.
