Exactly a year after his debut as Dog of the Week, Gary would like to remind of himself once more.
True, he ain’t anything special. His one ear is cut for reasons unknown to us. When he came to the “Farm” a year and a half ago, all the skin on his back was burned. Here and there, the scars are still visible today.
But… let us close our eyes for a second. Let’s imagine he was not a 6-year-old, long-suffering waif.
The joy radiating from his entire being when embraced – we could imagine him always being like that if he got to have his own person.
The enthusiasm he responds with when he sees us – we could see his joy if he were to have someone to wait for and greet at home.
The key words here are “his person” and “home”. We probably too often tend to call a dog “the best dog”. But it’s true, every time! Gary is definitely the best dog ever! If anyone ever starts considering adopting Gary and asks us what problems to expect, we’ll have no answer. Gary is kind to everyone, enjoys everything, obeys, and eats well – truly perfect!
Only one thing isn’t perfect with Gary – he doesn’t have a home! Even though he does deserve one so much!
We try to find Gary’s people all year long. Help us in the search, share! They might be among your friends!
