It was a long and complicated, but a successful operation for Ms Cuba De Cute-Sweetheart after all. The little girl can now boast with a huge metal plate in her leg, that keeps her shattered little bones in place.
As we already mentioned – the bad food and lack of minerals in her menu has led to her having thinner bones than it is normal at this age. In combination with the severe infection around the protruded bone, it made D-r Zlatinov’s mission a very difficult one. The good news is that he managed to put every bit of the leg in its right place.
Cuba is now at the shelter for her physiotherapy, a long recovery is to come and there is much to be done, but we are happy to inform you Cuba has all the chances to make it without permanent damage.
From Cuba with love: heartily regards to all the wonderful people who made this miracle possible for her! She loves her new life at the shelter and is grateful for everything we do for her. It is the donors of Animal Rescue Sofia who have done yet another miracle!
P.S. Please, excuse us for the delay of this report, the flu has been very unkind to us.
