A Jubilee: Dog #300 rehomed in Bulgaria!

Animal Rescue Sofia has been working at the Bogrov shelter for 2,5 years now. During that time we have successfully rehomed nearly 1500 homeless animals from the streets of Sofia. The larger part of those happy animals have found their loving families abroad – in Holland, Germany, Austria, Belgium and even in the UK.

This week we have a small celebration at the shelter – our locally rehomed dogs are now 300!

The honor falls to Tara – one of our many, many huskies. Tara is a sweet dog someone bought for the sake of fashion and then dumped outside as a piece of unwanted garbage. We found her hungry and weak, but she quickly regained her amazing Nordic energy.

Tara has found a loving owner! She was rehomed with Elly Todorikova and will have her own huge yard to roam about. We are incredibly happy and hope Tara will be a good luck token for the many huskies stuck at the shelter after they had been dumped by irresponsible people.
