Getting to the shelter by car
GPS coordinates: 42.707290,23.515156 or: +42° 42′ 26.24″, +23° 30′ 54.56″
Note: Google Maps and bgMaps haven’t sketched the road that connects us immediately with Botevgradsko shose. If you run your GPS it will take you through quite a lot of unnecessary bad road. It’s the simplest to follow these instructions:
The shelter is on the road between Gorni and Dolni Bogrov. If you are driving from Sofia you need to get off the road after the Jumbo store.
Pass by the village of Dolni Bogrov.
When you reach a big turn with a STOP and lots of warning signs there will be a Lukoil gas station to your right. This is the crossroads of the old mountain road to Burgas.
Make a U-turn, heading back to Sofia.
In 100 meters there will be about 50m of black road to your right. Just between a couple of abandoned yellow houses.
We are right behind the brown fence in the end of it. You will be able to tell by the noisy welcome.
Coming by Public transport
There is a Sofia Transport Nr90 bus to our shelter. Get off after the Lukoil gas station, before Gorni Bogrov at the “Hancheto” stop and walk back a bit – check on the map for the way through our neighbors, not the highway.
Upon arrival there is a 5-10 minute walk to get to the shelter grounds, please make sure you know the map.
