A mating with a champion dog such as Erik can cost up to 500E. We are very grateful to have received a donation for 2 matings of Erik -the money he gave us will cover up to 40 Spay/Neuter surgeries at the Bogrov clinic.

TO WHOM IT MAY CONSERN: Dear friends and volunteers, please have in mind that there are new regulations to walking dogs at the Bogrov shelter.
You are asked kindly to clean up ater the dogs and also not cross the area which is marked red. Both requirements are health safety procedures as we want to reduce contact between the dogs of the two buildings as well as keep the area unsoiled – stepping into poop is always the worst part of a walk.
Thanks!

Do you remember Mecho who came to us after his owners were unable to treat his wounds? He spent the summer with us and fully recovered. We than returned him to his home, neutered and healthy. Today we have photos from him at home.
This is Mecho when he arrived with us:

And this is Mecho today back at his home guarding a parking:

Mecho has received help thanks to your donations – if he was left untreated he would have passed by now. Instead he can enjoy the rest of his life peacefully in his common environment. Thank you for caring!

At a retirement home in Sofia elderly ladies look after the dogs outside. They are in contact with a member of ARS – Zhana, who always helps them with the animals, now they were taken for Neutering to the Bogrov clinic. Meet Dora, an elderly lady who cares for the animals:

At the spot the dogs were collected himanely and droven to the clinic with Zhana’s personal vehicle which she uses to help many dogs in need. We in Animal Rescue Sofia unfortunately have no car of our own.

D-r Marietta Stankova neutered the animals at the Bogrov clinic and they will soon be returned to their dwelling grounds where the elderly people at the retirement home can look after them as always.

You can also neuter the dogs you care for at our clinic for free.
